Bildung
Master’s degree focusing on sustainable agricultural production, environmental protection, crop and soil management, experimental research, quantitative data analysis, and crop modelling. Master’s thesis on organic soil amendments for cacao production in Bolivia.
Degree in Agricultural Engineering with training in crop production, soil and water management, agricultural systems, and applied agronomic research.
Erfahrungen
Designed and implemented an experimental trial evaluating organic soil amendment (Bokashi) formulations for cacao production in Bolivia. Coordinated amendment production, field implementation, monitoring, sampling, and laboratory analyses. Analyzed nutrient composition and treatment performance using R and assessed nutrient delivery and production costs.
Conducted greenhouse experiments evaluating reusable textile substrates and peat-free growing media in hydroponic systems. Managed basil, lettuce, and tomato crops, including establishment, irrigation, fertilization, crop monitoring, and biomass measurements. Analyzed experimental data using R.
Supported long-term field experiments on rye cover crops in maize–soybean systems, including soil and plant sampling, field monitoring, and data management. Calibrated and validated DSSAT crop models using long-term datasets and analyzed 30-year simulations in R to evaluate soil water, nitrogen cycling, and crop productivity.
Coordinated a 1-hectare pilot transition from chrysanthemum to rose production. Supervised a team of 10–20 workers and supported greenhouse layout, bed preparation, crop establishment, irrigation, and fertigation according to production specifications.
