Advisor: Dr. Mohammad Abbas Uddin 2022 - 2024
Conducted field investigations across 3 major textile-waste market clusters using purposive snowball sampling

Co-developed a material/waste matrix covering 7+ textile waste types by source, characteristics and end-use Collected qualitative material-flow evidence through ethnographic methods, open-ended interviews and 9 field observations MATERIALS RESEARCH HIGHLIGHT Published research on the valorisation of dyed waste fibres into sire-mélange yarn, with yarn-quality evaluation and industrial feasibility assessment. The study reported a 16% raw-material cost reduction and avoided an additional dyeing step in the studied process. SELECTED PUBLICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION Akter, M. M. K., Haq, U.
