earn my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Boğaziçi University in June 2025. For over four years now, I have dedicated my academic and professional journey to understanding the science of early development and education by gaining pertinent theoretical and practical experiences in various areas, along with acquiring and continually honing the quantitative and qualitative research methodologies in the field of education and broader social sciences. My undergraduate training at Boğaziçi University in Early Childhood Education has provided me with a strong theoretical and research foundation in the field of early child development, care and education by practically experiencing different learning environments such as public and private preschools, daycares, kindergartens and special education centers. My experience in such an array of settings has afforded the valuable opportunity to observe the ways in which different instructional environments influence children’s learning trajectories and what potential variables shape the process. Theory based courses with hands-on teaching experiences have boosted my passion to foster environments that are inclusive, stimulating, caring and responsive to various needs of young children from different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. During my internship experiences, I developed and implemented various types of evidence-based learning activities that tapped into children’s needs and I conducted group and individual assessments to foster their development in supportive learning environments. These experiences have not just expanded my knowledge and practical skills but also deepened my perspective on the importance and effects of quality education during early childhood years.
